1974 TYPE 2 "the electric bus" as featured in camper and bus magazine

Here we have a piece of history,only 5 of these former electric twin side loading doors were ever made! when imported  from the usa the electric motor was totally seized so it was removed and replaced with a 1600 petrol engine which was fitted to the original gearbox that had only ever been used in 2nd! van has original signage from the seventies,only covered 38k miles(mostly around a test track in the U.S),early westfalia interior fitted in excellent condition,interesting paperwork, lowered on drop spindles.
